Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, WhatsApp number, email address, company or brand name, industry, team size, business goals, lead sources, tools used, business challenges, budget range, intended timing, notes you choose to provide, and the content of messages you send to us.
3. How we collect data
We may receive personal data directly from you when you contact us, send an email or WhatsApp message, complete a form, or submit the Free Business System Audit. When you submit the Free Audit, the information you provide and the generated audit result may be transmitted to MCN Labs and recorded in our restricted-access internal lead/client management system, accessible only to authorised personnel for the purposes described in this Notice.
4. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, provide requested information, assess business-system needs, prepare proposals or service discussions, administer client relationships, maintain business records, protect our website and systems, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
5. Free Business System Audit
The Free Audit is a preliminary self-assessment. When you submit it, the information you provide and the generated result may be transmitted to MCN Labs and recorded in our restricted-access internal lead/client management system, accessible only to authorised personnel so we can provide or retain the result, respond to your enquiry, follow up on the audit, and discuss relevant MCN Labs services. The Audit uses automated, rule-based scoring to generate a preliminary business-system assessment. It is not intended to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. The Free Audit does not replace the paid MCN Diagnose.
6. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary to service providers that support hosting, communications, email, cloud infrastructure, security, document or business operations, or where disclosure is required by law. Service providers are expected to process data only for the relevant service and subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. Cross-border processing
Some service providers or technology infrastructure may process or store data outside Malaysia. Where this occurs, MCN Labs will take reasonable steps to use appropriate safeguards and comply with applicable Malaysian personal data protection requirements.
8. Security and retention
We take reasonable organisational and technical steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably required for the relevant purpose, legal obligations, dispute handling, or legitimate business records.
9. Cookies, local storage and tracking
The current website code does not deploy advertising, behavioural profiling or analytics tracking cookies. The site may use browser local storage to remember a language preference. Hosting or security infrastructure may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. If non-essential analytics or advertising tracking is introduced later, this notice and any required consent mechanism should be updated before that tracking is enabled.
10. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing. 11. Marketing communications
We do not treat use of the Free Audit by itself as consent to receive unrelated promotional marketing. Where marketing consent is requested, it should be presented separately and you may withdraw it at any time.
